The Challenge
Our goal is to provide safe and accessible navigation for people with visual impairments and other disabilities to key destinations in urban areas, including universities, parks, and beaches. We aim to ensure they can safely cross streets and reach their intended locations.
The Solution
Our DMD STEP-HEAR App, integrated with our Guiding and Assistive devices, activates Audio Anchor unit(s) and Beacon Units to mark the way. The App also signals the location of crosswalks, requests the light to change, and provides an adjustable audible signal.
The Challenge
To improve accessibility for disabled tourists and travelers by providing clear wayfinding in places such as airports, shopping centers and conference centers.
The Solution
With our Guiding and Assistive devices installed, tourists can use the DMD STEP-HEAR App to easily navigate venues. The app activates our Audio Anchor unit(s) and Beacon Units, guiding visitors through the space. Tourists can also receive messages in their own language and, if needed, call for assistance by activating the Assistant device at the venues information counter.
